This site is operated by Prowse Publications LLC ("I," "me," "my"). By using WillApproved.com, you agree to the practices described below.

Disclaimer

My websites are for informational purposes only. Use common sense: I am not responsible if you fail to follow local laws, regulations, and safety codes. Look around and think before you do things. Nothing on this site is guaranteed to be accurate or safe, because products and specs change constantly. Working with electricity and battery systems carries real risk — seek professional help if you don't feel confident building a system yourself.

Information We Collect

WillApproved.com does not require an account, does not have comments, and does not have a newsletter signup — so there isn't much I collect directly. What does happen:

• Site analytics. I use Google Analytics to see aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, approximate location, device/browser type, referring site, time on page). This is collected automatically for every visitor, not just people who sign up for something.
• If you email me. The Contact page lists an email address for business inquiries, dead links, and product-review submissions. If you email me, I see your email address, name (if you give one), and whatever you write. I don't respond to personal system-design consulting requests, and those emails get deleted.
• Mailing address submissions. If you mail me a physical product for review, I'll have whatever shipping information came with the package.

I do not knowingly sell or share this information with third parties beyond what's described in the Cookies section below.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies from these sources:

• Google Analytics (gtag.js). Traffic and usage analytics
• Google Fonts. Loads website typefaces from Google's servers
• Amazon affiliate/advertising scripts. Tracks affiliate referrals and displays Amazon widgets
• Site platform cookie. Basic session/cart functionality for on-site tools (e.g., the system builder pages)

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop Google Analytics from collecting your data on any site. This site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, since there's no industry-standard way to honor them yet.

How I Use Information

• To understand which pages and products are useful so I can improve the site.
• To respond to emails sent to the contact address.
• To evaluate products sent to me for review.

I will never sell your information. There's no real reason to — nothing on this site is for sale, and the site is supported through affiliate commissions, not data.

Third-Party Links & Services

WillApproved.com links out to retailers (Amazon, eBay, and others), manufacturer sites, my YouTube channel, and the independently-run DIY Solar Power Forum. Once you click through to any of those, you're subject to that site's own privacy policy and terms — I don't control what they collect or how they use it. The forum in particular is a separate site with its own account system, posts, and privacy policy; nothing you do there is covered by this policy.

Affiliate Disclosure

Amazon Associates. Prowse Publications LLC (operating WillApproved.com, mobile-solarpower.com, and diysolarforum.com) is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Any link on this site that goes to amazon.com is an affiliate link.

eBay Partner Network. This site also participates in the eBay Partner Network (EPN), eBay's affiliate program. When you click a link to eBay and make a purchase, this site may earn a commission.

Other affiliate programs. Affiliate relationships on this site may also include other merchants and networks beyond Amazon and eBay.

How this works in practice: I make a commission on purchases made through the links on this website. I do not receive any compensation just for mentioning or listing a product. If a product outside of my normal affiliate networks is ever featured, it will be clearly labeled as a sponsored post or advertisement, along with a disclosure if the product was provided to me for free.

Children's Privacy

WillApproved.com is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact me using the details below and I'll delete it.
